I never dreamt that I would become a sales rep because I hated selling. Back when I used to sell for different makeup companies, customers would always ask me, "what is the best "fill in the blank"". Of course as a rep, I had to stick to the company I was repping, but in my heart I wanted to scream another brand because I KNEW that one was better. So I got out of that and continued to freelance and test products at my own free will.
Everything I test has to be long-wearing because I deal with weddings that are all day events. I was added to a Facebook group by a friend, and a hairstylist was selling this long-wear lip product that I had never heard of. So of course I have to buy it to try it to see if it's up to my kit's standards.
Holy poop, I couldn't get the dang thing off. I was floored. I signed up the very next day for the discounts and started stocking my kit. I also posted online to see if anyone else wanted to purchase with me (to save on shipping) and there were so many people who wanted to buy it! And the thing is, I was more than happy to "sell" these to anybody and anyone because I KNEW it was the best long-wear lip product on the market today! If you asked me what is the best lip product for long-wear, I will happily rave to you that THIS IS IT.
If you want to sign up, it's CA$73 to sign up. You'll need to do it on a desktop:
1) Go onto www.senegence.ca. Go to career and then sign up. You'll have to enter my ID which is 230936. Make sure you also change country to Canada. They will ask if you want a kit (there are some good stuff, but most are brochures and stuff), I would pass and just go for the 300 pv order. Once you order 300 pv (1PV = CA$2.40) of products, you will get 50% off of everything! It's up to you if you want to pick personal or business. I picked personal, I think with business, you need a GST number.
A color retails for CA$30, a gloss is $25, and a remover is $12. Once you hit 300PV you get 50% off those prices! It might be overwhelming to front the money all at once for some people, so I'd recommend starting a Group and/or business Page (Group is for interacting, and Page is for business). Then, I load up my colors/pictures/YouTube clips and let people know that I'm ordering at the end of the week or a certain day/time.
The ones I sell the most are Blu-red (for dance competitions) and Fly Girl (classic pin up red) for reds.
Berry, Sheer Berry, and Plum for purples. I heard a lot of people liked the look of Lexie Berry but I never tried it..yet.
The ones that are safe colors and will always sell without problem Apple Cider, Bravo, First Love, and Cappucino. Caramel Apple and Aussie Rose are great for wedding photos. Bella is also very beautiful and neutral for darker skin tones.
The fun colors are Purple Reign, Kiss with a Cause, Blackberry and Samon!
There's over 70+ colors and glosses and everyone has different taste!
And yes, you need to use the gloss to "cure" the color. The color on its own is sticky. If you don't like the gloss , you an blot the gloss off after for a matte/cream look.
I usually buy 2-3 or the same colors: one for testers, and one in case someone wants to buy after testing it. You can also use it to trade with other distributors if you're looking for a random color for a client.
All the senesisters I've met are incredibly helpful and so nice! It really is a great community of makeup junkies. Once you sign up, I'll add you to the training and support groups! email@example.com
