📌 Booking & Policies
- Deposit: 50% non-refundable, required to secure your wedding date. Balance due before or on the event day.
- Cancellations: In the rare case I need to cancel due to emergency, your deposit + trial fees will be fully refunded. I can also help you find a hair and/or makeup artist through my extensive list of hair and makeup artist colleagues.
- Changes: Services cannot be removed after a wedding day booking, but extras may be added if time allows.
- Timing: Please allow 45–60 min per service. (Add extra time for long/thick hair or makeup that requires extra coverage.)
- For 2026, I’ll be working solo, so packages are 4-5 services, but I’m happy to coordinate alongside additional artists you may book for larger parties. May be able to provide 6 services - but please message me for a custom quote.

Q: What should I do before my makeup and hair appointment?
A: Please arrive with your teeth brushed and your face clean. If you wear contact lenses, have them in before your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing—ideally a button-up, zip-up, or loose-neck top—so you can change easily without disturbing your hair and makeup. This also helps ensure your makeup is matched seamlessly to your body tone.
Your hair must be clean and completely dry. Avoid using hot tools (like straighteners or curling irons) beforehand, as they can seal the hair cuticle and make it harder for styles to hold throughout the day.
All products will be provided—just come ready to relax and be pampered!
Q: What should I pack in my wedding day emergency kit?
A: Clear lash glue (e.g. Kiss), a lip product like lipstick or gloss to touch up before photos, powderless blotting sheets if you're an oilier skin type, bobby pins, and a mini hair spray for fly aways. Let us know if we can procure these for you for an extra charge.
Q: Is “natural” makeup less expensive?
A: No—the pricing is the same. A natural look still involves a full application, including foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, blush, and lips—just in softer, more neutral tones. We follow all the same steps to ensure your makeup looks flawless and lasts all day.
Q: Do you offer eye-only makeup services?
A: We don’t offer eye-only applications. To ensure a polished, cohesive look—and to maintain the quality and longevity we’re known for—we complete the full makeup application, including foundation, blush, and lips, based on your preferences. This allows everything to blend seamlessly and photograph beautifully.
Q: What is a mechanical lash curling service?
A: This service involves professionally curling your natural lashes using a lash curler. Not all artists offer this, and not every client needs it. It’s especially beneficial for those with straight or downward-growing lashes, as it helps open up the eyes and enhances the overall look. Because it requires additional time and precision, it’s offered as an add-on service. If you and your bridal party are comfortable curling your own lashes, doing so beforehand can help keep the schedule running smoothly.

A: For Chinese and East Asian weddings in Edmonton, we typically begin around 5:00–6:00 AM to be ready by 8:00–9:00 AM for door games. My packages can start as early as 4:00 AM. That said, timelines have become more flexible in recent years—feel free to reach out if you need a customized schedule.
Q: What if I don’t know what time I’ll need hair and makeup services yet?
A: No problem at all! A suggested timeline works perfectly for now. I understand that plans can change as the date gets closer, and I’m happy to stay flexible with your schedule.

2) Book your studio trial online HERE (please note availability becomes more scarce during Apr-Oct high season, so please book ahead when you're ready). Trials are optional, but just let me know if you don't need one so I can budget extra time on the wedding day.
3) We keep in touch to adjust any times/requirements for the big day and then the remaining balance is due before or when the services are completed on the wedding day!
