- A minimum of $490 total is required for weekend weddings from April to October 2024/2025.
- Receive a complimentary mock schedule on request! One less thing for you to plan!
- We accept cash and etransfer.
- If the artist has to cancel due to an unforeseen emergency, she will refund the deposit as well as trial costs.
- To lock in your day, a 50% non refundable deposit is required and the remaining balance is due on the wedding day. Please email first to ensure your date/time frame is available!
- Services cannot be removed after receiving the deposit. Additional services can be added if timing allows.

Q: What should I do before getting makeup and hair services?
A: Please have your teeth brushed, face washed, contacts in, and wear comfortable clothing that is a button/zip/loose neck shirt so you can easily change out of without disturbing the makeup and hair. Hair must be CLEAN and DRY (do not use a hot hair tool like a straightener as that will close up the hair cuticles and be very difficult to hold the shape throughout the day). We will provide all the products!
Q: What should I pack in my wedding day emergency kit?
A: Clear lash glue (e.g. Kiss), a lip product like lipstick or gloss to touch up before photos, powderless blotting sheets if you're an oilier skin type, bobby pins, and a mini hair spray for fly aways. Let us know if we can procure these for you for an extra charge.
Q: Is it cheaper if it is "natural" makeup?
A: No, it's still the same. We still do the foundation, concealer, powders, eye shadows, blushes, lips, etc.. but in a different neutral/natural shade. We still go through all the steps to make sure your makeup lasts all day.
Q: Do you do just the eyes?
A: No. Let's just say, with the client's choice of foundations, blushes, lips... longevity... it's not worth our reputation if the overall look doesn't meld.
Q: How early do you start?
A: Because we specialize in Edmonton Chinese and Asian weddings, we usually start around 5:00-6:00am to be completed by 8:00-9:00am for door games. This time frame has kind of changed over covid times though and wedding schedules have been more laid back. We will need to know what time you and your wedding party would like to be completed by and then we can send you a mock schedule for your review upon request.

2) Fill out the contract the best you can and email it along with your 50% deposit to save your date/time.
3) Book your studio trial online at www.lydiayapp.com (please note availability becomes more scarce during May-Sep high season, so please book ahead when you're ready). Trials are optional, but just let me know so I can budget extra time on the day of.
4) We keep in touch to adjust any times/requirements for the big day and then the remaining balance is due when the services are completed on the wedding day!
